Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State is embroiled in war of words with his teachers and their pupils on the one hand, and the Nigeria Union of Teachers on the other.
They are protesting the sacking of 22,000 teachers in the state who could not correctly answer examination questions that were meant to proffer a glimpse into their competencies.

The questions were originally meant for Primary Four pupils in the state’s public schools.
